Flybe has decorated one of its Bombardier Q400's by putting large hearts on the plane's nose and underbelly so that they are visible from the ground.
Europe's biggest regional airline is flying the plane in and out of a number of English cities as well as Belfast in Northern Ireland today and tomorrow.
Glasgow will be the only Scottish destination when the "Love Plane" jets in tomorrow at 8am from Birmingham before it makes the return journey out of the westcoast hub 25 minutes later.
Airline chiefs have also launched a picture competition.
The person who takes the best photograph of the plane will win a romantic weekend for two in Florence.
The prize is not expected to be won by anyone from Glasgow since the airport does not allow the public access to the roof or balconies. Instead amateur photographers are confined to local car parks or the perimeter fence.
However, an airline spokeswoman said: "Passengers who are airside or arriving or catching this flight will be able to take pics of the Love Plane."
