CAMPAIGNERS donned gas masks to protest against poor air quality in Glasgow's most polluted street.
They aimed to raise awareness about the dangerous levels of pollution in Hope Street.
Activists from Friends Of The Earth and the British Heart Foundation met beside the street's air quality monitoring station, which measures levels of pollution.
They are pressing for urgent action to clean the air to protect against heart and lung problems caused by breathing in poor quality air.
Pollution causes about 1500 deaths every year in Scotland.
