Man cut free from upturned car
FIREFIGHTERS used specialist cutting equipment to free a man from an upturned car, which had flipped onto its roof after apparently hitting a wall on the A70 in Lanark.
As paramedics tended to the man trapped inside, firefighters used hydraulic cutting equipment and freed him from the wreck.
He was taken to Wishaw General Hospital.
