A WOMAN was rushed to hospital after being knocked down by a car in Glasgow city centre.
She was taken to the Western Infirmary following the incident on the Broomielaw at around 11.40am on Monday.
Emergency services are at the scene and the road is closed between York Street and Robertson Street.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "At about 11.40am a female was knocked down on the Broomielaw. She has been taken to the Western Infirmary."
