A MAN has been arrested in connection with an alleged racial breach of the peace involving Glasgow MSP Humza Yousaf.
Police Scotland confirmed that a 30-year-old man has been arrested following the incident outside Queen Street Station at around 6pm on Tuesday.
At the time of the incident, The Evening Times columnist was selling the Big Issue as part of International Street Paper Vendor Week to help raise awareness about homelessness.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal and the man, who has been detained, is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court tomorrow.
