A SCOTTISH island has been named the top in Europe by an international travel website.
Lewis and Harris beat tropical and Mediterranean rivals to secure fifth place in TripAdvisor's list of top 10 islands in the world.
Scottish islands secured six of the places in its list of top 10 isles around Britain, with Orkney's mainland, Mull, Skye, Arran and Islay also included.
