FILM buffs took to the red carpet for the launch of the 10th annual Glasgow Film Festival.
Top names from the movie industry are set to descend on the city for 11 days of events, including UK, European and world premiere screenings.
It started last night at the Glasgow Film Theatre with the UK premiere of Wes Anderson's The Grand Budapest Hotel.
There are 10 films at various locations today and a range of other events are lined up over the festival.
Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum will host a fancy dress gala screening of Young Frankenstein, while there will also be a mystery screening under Central Station.
Among the big names set to attend are Richard Dreyfuss, who will attend the UK premiere screening of his latest film Cas & Dylan on Saturday, along with debut director and Beverly Hills 90210 star Jason Priestley.
Paul Brannigan and director Jonathan Glazer will also be at the Closing Gala screening of Under The Skin, starring Scarlett Johansson.
