A THUG vandalised a train station shelter before risking his life by running along the track.
British Transport Police has launched an investigation after a man was seen on CCTV kicking and damaging the shelter on platform 2 at Thornliebank station.
He is then seen crossing the tracks - between platforms - before chasing another man along the platform and throwing ballast from the track at him.
The incident happened at 10.35pm on Saturday, March 1 at the East Renfrewshire station.
The man responsible is described as wearing a green and black hooded top, jeans and trainers. He was also carrying a carrier bag.
Constable Gordon Anderson, the officer in charge of the inquiry, is appealing for information.
He said: "There are appears to be no reason for this man's behaviour. As well as wilfully damaging the shelter he put himself and others in danger.
"I am aware there were others waiting at the platform and would appeal to anyone who has information that can help identify him to get in touch."
