A man has been remanded in custody charged with attempted murder following an incident in Johnstone.
Scott Dominick, 50, of the town's Canal Road, is alleged to have assaulted Andrew Palmer in Collier's Bar in High Street.
He is alleged to have cut his throat with a machete to his severe injury and permanent disfigurement on March 2. He is also said to have assaulted Martin Docherty and Christine Miller in the same pub.
Dominick appeared in private at Paisley Sheriff Court. He made no plea or declaration and was remanded by Sheriff Colin Pettigrew who continued the case for further examination.
