THE company formed to spearhead the regeneration of the former Ravenscraig steelworks site has welcomed North Lanarkshire Council's proposals to create a new £37million shared high school campus.
Ravenscraig Ltd says the redevelopment of Ravenscraig has the potential to unlock an additional £425m of private investment and create up to 4500 new jobs.
As part of North Lanarkshire Council's proposals, Taylor High School and Our Lady's High School would merge with a new Bothwellpark Additional Support Needs High School on the site at Ravenscraig.
