A GLASGOW library is brewing up a storm to mark an international celebration.
The West brewery at Glasgow Green has teamed up with the Glasgow Women's Library to help them brew a special beer for International Women's Day.
The beverage, usually named St Mungo's beer, has been renamed after his mother, St Thenew, and staff plan to sell their brew to raise much needed funds for the library,
Petra Wetzel, owner of West said: "West is very much a company in female hands so it goes well with the women's library and also with International Women's Day.
"The library is run by volunteers, and money is tight for books so we wanted to help them."
Sue John, a manager at the library, said: "It was a great learning experience. We'd never brewed beer before and we really appreciate this kind donation."
