Beyonce experience of playing the Hydro might be fading but it seems her heart is still in the city...

For the US superstar posted a picture of West End restaurant The Hanoi Bike Shop on her official Instagram on Saturday. The post went out to her 10 million followers.

It is thought she visited the eatery, which claims to be the city's first Vietnamese canteen and is situated on Ruthven Lane, when she played to sold out audiences at the Glasgow SSE Hydro on Thursday and Friday, February 20 and 22.

Beyonce did, however, remain tight lipped not adding any comment with the post.

Emily Mackay, manager of the restaurant, would not confirm if the star dined at the restaurant but she did say: "We do get a lot of famous people in the restaurant but we would like to respect their anonymity.

"She didn't get that picture by accident though."

She added: "It is great who would not want Beyonce putting your phone number on her Instagram.

"It is a bit of fun and great exposure for the restaurant."

The restaurant, which serves up street food classics, pho and banh mi, discovered the post through their own social media accounts.

The post received 253081 likes on the social networking site and over 700 comments.

Instagram user @jamestgraham posted, "That's Glasgow! Hanoi Bike Shop," while @nicmacy said, "Glasgow west end phone number! #glasgowrocks."

Another user @katheeandrea posted, "Wow this is art."
