A COMMUNITY-based project is looking for volunteers to help provide vital life-changing support for people fitted with an NHS hearing aid across Glasgow.
Hear to Help, which is run by charity Action on Hearing Loss Scotland, provides practical help to reduce the loneliness and isolation often experienced by people with hearing loss.
Volunteers will be trained to show residents how to get the most from their NHS hearing aids. When fully trained, the volunteers can attend drop-in sessions or visit housebound clients to carry out basic maintenance on hearing aids.
