A FIRE that left a woman in hospital is being treated as attempted murder.
Emergency services were called to the blaze in Seaton Terrace, Irvine, at about 2am yesterday.
The 49-year-old was taken to Crosshouse Hospital where she is said to be stable. Police are treating the incident as wilful fire raising and attempted murder.
Officers want to speak to a man seen at the time of the fire.
