A CHARITY football tournament organised to help families affected by the Clutha tragedy has raised £2000.

Familiar faces from the worlds of sport and politics took part in the event, in aid of the Lord Provost's Clutha Appeal Fund, on Sunday at Toryglen Regional Football Centre.

Celtic legend Tom Boyd relived his glory days to help his team - The Lord Provost Selects - to victory.

Clyde FC manager Jim Duffy and Partick Thistle boss Alan Archibald also took part alongside politicians and Glasgow Girls FC players. The local team presented a cheque for £500 towards the appeal fund and the tournament collected £1500.
