A full hearing of a former Rangers commercial director's bid to secure a £500,000 payout from the Ibrox club scheduled for next month has been delayed.
Imran Ahmad's claim against Rangers could now be put back until February next year, although earlier court dates may become available. Lord Woolman agreed to discharge a hearing of evidence and submissions in the action to begin on April 1 at the Court of Session in Edinburgh.
Mr Ahmad maintains that he was entitled to 5% of commercial contracts negotiated by him and claims he was told by then CEO Charles Green, that his bonus for 2013 would be "no less than 500K".
