EX-Partick Thistle footballer Adam Strachan has dodged a jail sentence after being caught with almost £2000 of heroin down his pants.
The 27-year-old was snared by police at a flat, and a 28 gram bag of heroin was found in his boxers.
Strachan, from Maryhill. pled guilty at Glasgow Sheriff Court to being in possession of the class A drug in 2013.
Sheriff Andrew Normand imposed a community payback order with the condition he must be supervised for six months and carry out 240 hours of community work.
