DRUGS worth more than £1.5millon have been seized during two police operations in Glasgow and Lanarkshire.
Officers swooped on an industrial unit in Balmoral Street, Partick and discovered around 1100 cannabis plants with an estimated street value of £660,000.
Drugs were also recovered from a car on the M74, which was travelling northbound at Larkhall. The drugs, believed to be Amphetamine Sulphate, have an estimated street value of £1m.
A 26-year-old man was arrested in connection with the M74 recovery and is expected to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Monday.
