A finance chief who embezzled almost £8000 from a leading charity has offered to repay more than half the money.
Jacqueline Smith's lawyer told Paisley Sheriff Court he had grave concerns about her mental state and asked for the case to be continued for a GP's report.
Smith, a former senior credit controller at the Paisley operation of the British Red Cross, admitted embezzling almost £7975 from funds.
The court heard the offence happened when whe was working at the Red Cross depot in Smithhills Street last year.
Smith's lawyer said that he had instructions to offer a figure close to £5000 as part-repayment
Smith, 47, of Church Hill, Paisley, had sentence further deferred until April 22.
