A PUB in Glasgow's West End has been named the best in Scotland.
Coopers on Great Western Road scooped the Best Pub accolade at the Best Bar None awards.
Judges were said the popular venue "went above and beyond what was expected" offering a free buffet for office workers, as well as updating consumers on crime and disorder prevention on social media.
Other city centre winners included Driftwood, on St George's Road, which was crowned the Best Bar during the ceremony at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Argyle Street last night.
Champagne Central, at the Central Hotel, came top in the Best Hotel Bar category and The University of Strathclyde Students' Union took home Best Public Health Initiative prize.
The annual awards are run by the Scottish Business Resilience Centre. Director Mandy Haeburn-Little said: "Each and every one of these venues deserve all the success which comes their way following what was one of the most keenly contested national award ceremonies in recent years."
