A WOMAN who died in a road crash in East Dunbartonshire has been named.
Mary Geddes of Allander Road, Bearsden, was killed when her car collided with a lorry on Boclair Road at Ardoch Road in the town.
The 60-year-old, who was driving a Vauxhall Corsa, died at the scene while the 26-year-old driver of the lorry was uninjured but "badly shaken".
Emergency services were called to the incident at around 8.15am on Monday and police released an appeal for witnesses.
A full report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
