Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone and Jamie Foxx will be swinging into London for the world premiere of The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

The stars will be joined by co-star Dane DeHaan, the film's director Marc Webb and producers Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach at the Odeon cinema in Leicester Square tomorrow, ahead of the film's release on April 16.

Garfield, whose mother hails from London, said: "I'm delighted to see the world premiere of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 take place in my home town. I can't wait to present this movie to audiences across the UK."

The 30-year-old reprises his role as Peter Parker and his web-slinging superhero alter-ego Spider-Man, alongside Stone as love interest Gwen Stacy in the comic-book sequel by Sony Pictures.

Foxx portrays the film's villain Electro, while DeHaan plays Parker's friend and nemesis Harry Osborn/Green Goblin.

Fans across the UK and Ireland will have the chance to be a part of the event, as The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will also be shown simultaneously at 20 regional premieres.
