GLASGOW is hosting the Festival of Museums at venues across the city.
The scheme, taking place across Scotland from May 16 to 18, aims to give visitors a cultural experience with a twist.
A baking contest inspired by Charles Rennie Mackintosh will take place at Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, while Scotland Street Museum will be turned into a giant gaming centre.
At the Burrell Collection visitors will be able to handle armour from Ancient Greece and medieval times.
Yesterday's festival launch saw Mary Queen of Scots and William Wallace look-alikes taught swing dancing.
