THEY'VE had celebrity help from The Vaccines, Frightened Rabbit and Franz Ferdinand.
But now the pupils from schools in the St Mungo’s learning community are ready to go it alone as they launch their first single.
Primary and secondary youngsters from Glasgow’s east endhaverecorded Let the Games Begin ahead of the Commonwealth Games to raise money for Unicef.
And now the young performers lookset for stardom of theirown.
Head teacher Louise Hamilton said: “It has been so exciting to have had the chance to work with such talented artists both in the writing and performing of our song.
“We all believe that we are just at the start of a spectacular journey of creating a wonderful legacy through our music.”
St Anne’s is a School of Music where every child has the chance to learn a musical instrument.
The song was recorded in the East End Social and Chem19 Recording Studio and is now available on iTunes.
Money raised from sales of the single will go to supporting Unicef’s work with children in Scotland and other Commonwealth countries.
