MASKED thieves have raided a children's designer clothes shop in Glasgow.
The two men burst into the Strawberry Fields shop in Great Western Road, Kelvinside, just before closing time and threatened staff before stealing a variety of items.
They then escaped in a silver saloon along Great Western Road, before turning into Belmont Street.
Neither of the two workers were injured in the robbery, but both were left "very distressed" and the shop was closed for a day.
Items stolen included children's T-shirts and dresses.
Police are appealing for information about the raid, which happened on Wednesday at 4.50pm.
Both raiders were about 5ft 10in. One was said to be stocky and the other slim.
Detective Constable Alan Watt, at the Community Investigation Unit, said: "The two staff have been left very distressed by this incident and I am appealing for anyone who was in the area around the time of the robbery to contact us.
"I would ask anyone who is offered any designer children's clothes in the next few days to get in touch.
"Anyone with any information that can help us in our inquiry is asked to call 101."
