A new initiative has been launched that allows customers to suggest a cash machine they would like to dispense £5 notes.
LINK, the UK's cash machine network, say being able to withdraw fivers from cash machines is useful for some customers, particularly those on tighter budgets.
By completing a form on the LINK website, anyone can suggest an existing cash machine that they'd like to be able to withdraw £5 notes from.
LINK will then pass the request on to the relevant cash machine owner, for consideration.
John Howells, LINK CEO, said: "Over the last year we have seen great success with our Suggest a Site initiative and, with the expansion of the service, we hope to build on this success. By extending the initiative to include £5 notes at ATMs we will be able to work with our members to ensure the cash machine industry is even more responsive to its customers' needs."
The form can be accessed at: www.link.co.uk/cardholders/suggestasite.
