A man has been arrested after cocaine worth an estimated street value of £52,000 was discovered in a Moodiesburn house.
The haul of drugs was found after Police Scotland officers acting on warrant searched a house in Bridgend Crescent on Wednesday, May 7, at around 8.55pm.
Police Scotland said a 41 year-old man has been arrested and is currently detained in police custody in connection with the recovery.
Detective Inspector David Reilly, of Airdrie Police Office, said: "This recovery clearly demonstrates our determination to crack down on drugs in our communities. We are committed to ridding our communities of drugs and we are always grateful for any assistance the public can give us in relation to this."
