Mo Farah has confirmed he will compete at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
The double Olympic champion will take part in this summer's games, handing organisers a timely boost with other high-profile athletes including Chris Hoy, Jessica Ennis-Hill and Lee McConnell not competing.
The athlete was one of the stars of the 2012 London Olympics, claiming victory in the 5,000m and 10,000m events.
There were fears the runner may miss out on the event to concentrate on competing in various marathons across the globe.
Farah collapsed during the London Marathon last month after completing the race in a time of two hours and eight minutes.
The 31-year-old wrote on Twitter: "Hi guys! I will be running in the Commonwealth Games this year..!! See you in Glasgow..!! Shabba....!!"
