A man has been arrested in connection with the death of a woman whose body was recovered from a river.
The body of Eileen Glassford, 60, was removed from the River Clyde near Uddingston Grammar School in Uddingston, South Lanarkshire, at around 7.30pm on Monday.
She was from Motherwell.
Police Scotland said a 49-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death. He is expected to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court today.
