A MAN is to stand trial later this year charged with raping a woman in a pub toilet.
Fenton Gass is accused of carrying out the sex attack at the Central Bar in Ayr last August 4.
Gass, 43, of Alloway, Ayrshire, yesterday lodged a plea of not guilty during a short hearing at the High Court in Glasgow.
Judge Lord Matthews set a trial due to begin in September.
The court was told the case is expected to last around four days.
