A man has been arrested following the death of another man at a seaside caravan park.
Emergency services were called to Sandylands caravan park in Saltcoats, North Ayrshire, late on Thursday.
A 41-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers at Police Scotland say they have arrested a 28-year old in connection with the death.
A force spokeswoman said: "We received a report at 11.35pm on Thursday of a man injured following an altercation at Sandylands caravan park in Saltcoats.
The man is expected to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Monday.
