DRUGS worth more than £2 million have been seized by police in Glasgow.
The 31 kilo haul of heroin was discovered when officers swooped on the man in Doncaster Street, in Maryhill, last night.
It is one of Glasgow's biggest seizures of the drug and a 42-year-old man was arrested.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Officers, acting on information, arrested a man in Doncaster Street, Glasgow who was allegedly in possession of 31 kilos of drugs, believed to be heroin.
"The drugs have a street value in excess of £2 million.
"A full report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal."
The 42-year-old is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court tomorrow.
