A RAPE support organisation has produced a DVD aimed at explaining the criminal justice process for survivors of sexual violence.
The DVD, Survivors' Guide to the Scottish Justice System, is intended to help anyone who is thinking about reporting a sexual crime. It is the first of its kind in Scotland.
Rape Crisis Scotland national co-ordinator Sandy Brindley said: "Improving the prospects of survivors of sexual violence of receiving justice for the crimes perpetrated against them is a priority for us."
Detective Superintendent Louise Raphael, said: "Anything designed to support victims in understanding the process is welcome."
