DRIVERS faced early morning delays after a car and van collided on a busy road.
The crash happened shortly before 7am on Tuesday on the A70 between Carnwath and Carluke, in North Lanarkshire.
It is understood that two people were injured and taken to Wishaw General Hospital by Ambulance crews.
Fire teams were in attendance, while police directed traffic.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "At about 6.50am we received a report of a car and van crash on the A70 between Carnwath and Carluke."
