POLICE are hunting two men who carried out a brutal attack on a leafy Paisley road.

Two men, aged 33 and 30, were rushed to hospital following the daylight attack in Glenburn Road, as reported in later editions of last night's Evening Times.

The attacked happen­ed at 4.50pm yesterday and involved two men who were driving a mar­oon Citroen Berlingo.

The attackers left the car at the roadside while they battered the men with weapons, ­before escaping in the same vehicle. Police ­believe the pair were "intended targets".

Residents in the area spoke of their shock ­after the attack.
