ONE of the UK's leading lingerie brands has announced plans to open a concession store in Glasgow.

The retail part-nership will see Ultimo open an initial two outlets at House of Fraser stores in Glas-gow and Manchester next month.

The brand specialises in fashion lingerie as well as bridal and swim-wear, and will be staffed by specially trained Ultimo consultants.

The current 'face and body' of Ultimo is model Abbey Clancy, who will front the brand's forthcoming Autumn Winter campaign.

Michelle Mone OBE, founder of Ultimo, said: "We are hugely excited about increasing our presence in House of Fraser stores and making Ultimo more widely available on the UK high street.

"Our growth strategy is focused on three key areas: growing store presence, increasing our product offering and online expansion.

"With these new stores, we will be in a position to showcase Ultimo's full product offering, while also giving consumers a seamless Ultimo shopping experience."

The new stores will be designed by global retail design agency Design4Retail, which has previously designed retail solutions for brands including Cath Kidston, Clarins, Clinique and Adidas.

A House of Fraser spokesman said: "Ultimo is an iconic lingerie brand.

"We know that our customers will be delighted the brand is more widely available in our stores."
