Police searching for a missing 14-year-old boy at a reservoir have found a body.
Emergency services were called to Torduff Reservoir in Bonaly Country Park, Edinburgh, at around 6.15pm yesterday.
A Police Scotland spokesman said officers went to the scene along with the fire service following a report the boy was "in difficulty in the water".
In a statement this morning Police Scotland said: "Police can confirm that a body has been recovered during a multi-agency search operation to trace a 14-year-old boy at the Torduff Reservoir.
"Efforts are underway to trace the boy's next of kin and inform them of the discovery."
