firefighters in the north of the city are warning residents to be fire safe.
It follows an incident last week where two men were treated for smoke inhalation following a flat blaze in the north of Glasgow.
Station Manager John McKenna said: "Every property needs to be protected by working smoke alarms - the time they buy is absolutely vital to prevent injuries and deaths through fire.
"I would urge everyone to recognise fire isn't something that only happens to other people. It can happen to any of us and we all need to make sure our homes and everyone in them are protected."
SFRS crews returned to the area days after the fire to raise awareness of the Free Home Fire Safety Visit programme, which sees firefighters provide householders with potentially life-saving tips and advice.
The visits - a key part of the ongoing Join Scotland's Fight Against Fire campaign - are regularly provided by firefighters throughout the country
