A CANNABIS grower was dealt a blow when a court confiscated thousands of pounds.
Steven Walker, 38, was found to be growing the class B drug after police attended his home in Coatbridge, North Lanarkshire, in November 2012.
He was convicted in July last year and placed on supervision for two years, as well as being ordered to do a 300-hour Community Payback Order.
At Hamilton Sheriff Court, officials made an order to confiscate £5900.
Lindsey Miller, procurator fiscal for Organised Crime and Counter Terrorism unit, said funds were gathered through the Proceeds of Crime Act.
