COMMUTERS faced rush-hour disruption today after a signals failure halted rail services.
Trains between Rutherglen and Motherwell and Dalmuir and Larkhall were hit by the fault shortly before 8am today.
The fault between Cambuslang and Newton meant trains could not stop at a host of stations, including Newton, Blantyre, Hamilton West and Hamilton Central.
Replacement buses were being laid on to help get passengers moving.
It is not yet known when the fault will be repaired.
