A chef who spent last week catering for upmarket clients at The Open Championship has been fined for domestic abuse.

Nicolas Nozeman was hired by official timekeeper Rolex - which sponsors Tiger Woods, Justin Rose, Adam Scott and runner-up Rickie Fowler - to work at the prestigious event.

Yesterday, he appeared at Perth Sheriff Court and admitted acting aggressively towards his ex-fiancee Emily Kettles.

The court was told that the chef was dumped after Miss Kettles called off their wedding.

Nozeman, of Clyde Tower, East Kilbride, admitted abusing Miss Kettles in Windsor Terrace, Perth, on May 12 by shouting, swearing and acting in an aggressive manner.

Nozeman was fined £200.
