WO men had a lucky escape today when a fire broke out in a shed.
The pair were treated for smoke inhalation as fire-fighters tackled an early morning blaze in North Lanarkshire.
Crews from Motherwell Station were called to the "well-developed" blaze in Biggar Road, in Cleland, shortly after 6am today.
The blaze had spread to along a wooden fence and engulfed two mini-buses, a tree, and a portacabin.
Station Manager Scott Kennedy, the senior SFRS officer at the scene, said: "When our crews arrived the fire was already well-developed.
"It had taken hold of a large garden shed and travelled along approximately 30 metres of wooden fencing to involve two mini-busses, a tree and a portacabin.
"The crews used three jets to bring the flames under control and they did well to extinguish this fire before it could threaten any homes."
Firefighters provided oxygen therapy to the men, before paramedics gave them precautionary check-ups at the scene.
