A security warning has been issued after a number of people were conned out of money in a bogus bank scam.
Police in West Lothian said an elderly woman lost "a significant sum of money" after a phone call from a man claiming to work for Bank of Scotland.
A police spokesman said: "These scams can be very convincing."
