A fire in a Glasgow care home on Monday night has forced residents into alternative accommodation.
The blaze hit the Foxley House Care Home in Mount Vernon at around 7.30pm on Monday, July 28.
A total of 22 residents and three members of staff were evacuated after crews from Clydesmill and Polmadie Community Fire Stations tackled the blaze.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service incident commander, watch manager Mark Andrews said he was faced with acrid smoke coming from the building when he arrived at the care home.
One resident was taken to hospital with minor injuries after falling whilst being evacuated from the building.
Residents are now in alternative accommodation within two nearby care homes due to the fire damage sustained to the building.
The cause of the incident is currently under investigation by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.
