A POLICE probe is underway after a man was attacked in broad daylight in a Glasgow street.
The 41-year-old man was found with "serious injuries" in Dennistoun at around noon today.
Emergency services raced to the scene in Meadowpark Street, near Alexandra Parade, after the alarm was raised.
Paramedics treated the victim before he was rushed to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.
The extent of his injuries have not been released.
However, he is described as being in a "stable" condition.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Around 12.05pm on Wednesday a 41-year-old man was attacked and seriously injured in Meadowpark Street in Dennistoun.
"He is currently being treated at Glasgow Royal Infirmary and enquiries are continuing."
