VANDALS caused £1000 of damage to a community garden after ripping out trees worth £150 each.
It's the second incident of vandalism in the garden in the Onthank area of Kilmarnock in the past month.
Onthank Tenants and Residents Association planted the trees in May and have been working tirelessly to make a difference in the area with the garden.
