TALKING Heads singer David Byrne has paid tribute to his late mum's work to help the disadvantaged.
The mother-of-two, Emma, who was 92 when she died in June, received prestigious awards for her community work.
Dumbarton-born David described her as a "great example" to him, sister Celia, and her grandchildren.
