A YOUNG boy was rushed to hospital today after he was knocked down by a van.
He was it by the vehicle at around 12.05pm in the West End of Glasgow.
Police said the boy is believed to be nine or 10-years-old.
Emergency services raced to the scene in Argyle Street, outside Kelvingrove Art Gallery, and took the boy to Yorkill Hospital for treatment.
His condition is not yet known.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Around 12.05pm a young boy was hit by a van on Argyle Street outside Kelvingrove Art Gallery.
"An ambulance was attended and the boy was taken to hospital for treatment.
"The driver was left uninjured."
Police said a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
