I KNOW many Rangers fans would like to see Lewis Macleod play in his preferred position in the centre of midfield.
In some respects, Lewis is like myself. I wanted to play at centre-forward.
But I was often used in midfield or at the back. And I was always just delighted to get a game. Lewis's best position is in the middle of the park. That is accepted.
But to accommodate other players, he is being used wide for the time being.
He actually came inside a great deal against Hibs and enjoyed an excellent game.
I have no doubt that, in due course, he will move into his favoured role.
But, for the time being, you will hear no complaints from the 20-year-old about getting a regular start on the left or the right.
