AN area in Glasgow's South Side has topped the list of Scotland's most desirable postcodes, according to a new study.
The research, commissioned by Royal Mail, found that G44 ranked highest based on employment opportunities, health, education, crime rates and housing affordability.
The area, which includes Cathcart, Croftfoot, King's Park, Muirend and Netherlee, boasts an abundance of green space, including the leafy Linn Park and several golf courses and is split between two local authorities - Glasgow City Council and East Renfrewshire.
Other top spots included Renfrewshire (PA8), Erskine, Largs, Ayrshire (KA30) and Clackmannanshire (FK11).
